Leon Zarbock is an ambitious, up-and-coming artist whose work is inspired by music, culture, pop art, and street art. Born in Munich in 1984, he now lives in Landshut, where he works in his own home studio.
His passion for art and design was sparked at an early age, ultimately leading him to study “Interactive Media” at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg. After many years of professional experience as a freelance photographer and media designer, he gradually expanded his diverse creative career to include independent artistic work.
In addition to the stylistic influences of pop culture and street art, he draws inspiration from the tactile and visual qualities of a wide variety of materials, combining them in his work to create images rich in contrast. He employs various mixed-media techniques, working not only with traditional paintbrushes but also with spray cans, stencils, markers, collages, and pouring techniques. Most of his pieces are created on sturdy MDF panels, which provide the ideal surface for his creative experiments.
His works are vibrant and expressive compositions of different styles, techniques, and materials that stand out and capture the viewer’s attention. Through his experimental approach, each piece of art is unique in its creation and tells its own story inviting everyone to interpret it in their own way.
